LyondellBasell, the world's largest licensor of polyolefin technologies, recently announced that Jiangsu Fenghai High-Tech Materials Co.

The technology will be used in a 400 KTA Spheripol plant and a 300 KTAA Hostalen ACP plant under construction in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China.

Spheripol technology is the leading polypropylene (PP) processing technology with a licensed capacity of more than 30,000,000 tons.

Hostalen ACP high-performance processing technology produces, multi-peak HDPE resins with industry-leading stiffness/toughness balance, impact resistance, high stress cracking, and process advantages for pressure piping, film and blow molding applications.

The Hostalen ACP plant will begin production of a range of multi-mode HDPE products using Avant Z501 and Avant Z509-1 catalysts.
