Clariant introduces three azo pigments that offer new opportunities for designers and producers of plastic products in India. These pigments were unveiled at the ongoing PlastIndia 2012. All three products are presented at the Clariant booth 7F-R1, where visitors can also find details of the full Clariant pigments product range.The first of the new pigments is PV Fast Red HGR, a high performance azo pigment with Color Index Pigment Red (PR) 285. This mid red shade pigment displays a high light fastness as well as excellent heat stability. Thanks to its low warping properties and FDA compliance, this pigment is ideally suited for food packaging applications. When used in combination with PV Fast Yellow HGR (PY 191), which has similar properties, it provides new opportunities to match brilliant, economical orange shades.
