Associated Dyestuff has proposed to set up a dyes, dyes intermediates and pigment manufacturing plant at Dudhwada in Gujarat?s Vadodara district. In its presentation to the Ministry of Environment and Forest for environmental clearance, the company said the approximate cost of the proposed establishment will be Rs 15 crore including the cost of environmental management system which will be around Rs 2.5 crore. The products the company intend to produce are crude spray dried dyes (150 MT/m), vinyl sulphone (acetanilide) and its derivatives (200 MT/m), hydrochloric acid (100 MT/m), beta napthol (100 MT/m), various dyes intermediates like gamma acid/ K acid/ J acid/ N methyl J acid/ Meta Urido Aniline/ Tobias acid/ Sulpho Tobias acid (50 MT/m) and pigment CPC blue (50 MT/m). The total land area is 35,000 sq m of which 11,550 sq m is of green belt.
