The Vadodara complex of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) has started operating at full capacity after obtaining prior permission from the concerned district authority.Based on the requirement, the company may also enhance production even at Dahej complex.From an initial capacity of 37,425 TPA Caustic Soda, the company has grown to be one of the largest producers in India with a capacity of 429,050 TPA spread over two complexes at Vadodara and Dahej. GACL has already started to diversify and expand its existing infrastructure to consolidate it's supremacy in Chlor-Alkali and other integrated downstream products.

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) has been granted Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) license for Ortho Phosphoric Acid with an effective date from 24th November, 2021.  The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals vide Order dated June 2021 issued Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2021.  As per the said Order, the company’s product viz., Ortho Phosphoric Acid has been covered under the compulsory BIS certification under Indian Standard IS 798 : 2020 and should bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.  GACL is the first Indian company to get license for Ortho Phosphoric Acid under this Compulsory Registration Scheme.  Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd. is engaged in the business of industrial chemical products and are committed for enhancing customer satisfaction and continual impro...
