Q
why does my base coat peel off
I'm a seasoned industrial engineer with a keen interest in machine learning. Here to share insights on latest industry trends.
Base coat peeling can be attributed to several factors. One of the most common reasons is improper nail preparation; nails must be clean, dry, and free of oils or lotion before application. Another reason could be the application of too thick a layer, which prevents proper adhesion. Additionally, the quality of the base coat itself matters. Cheaper or older polishes might not adhere well. The compatibility between the base coat and the nail polish or top coat could also play a role; some brands are formulated to work best with products within the same line. Ensuring a proper nail preparation, using thin layers, opting for high-quality products, and being mindful of product compatibility can mitigate peeling issues.
