Q
how to solve dried out ink of ballpen
I'm a seasoned industrial engineer with a keen interest in machine learning. Here to share insights on latest industry trends.
To solve the issue of a dried-out ballpen, start by gently warming the tip with a lighter for a few seconds, taking care not to melt the plastic. If that doesn't work, try scribbling on a rubber surface, like the sole of a shoe, to get the ink flowing. Another method is soaking the tip in rubbing alcohol or warm water for a few minutes to dissolve the dried ink. Blowing into the opposite end of the pen can also help by pushing the ink towards the tip. Ensure the pen is stored vertically with the tip down to prevent the issue in the future. If none of these methods work, it might be time to replace the ballpen as the ink cartridge could be irreversibly dry.
