It's crucial to measure ink viscosity under consistent temperature conditions, as viscosity can vary significantly with temperature changes. Calibrating the viscometer before measurements ensures accuracy. Adjusting ink viscosity is important for different printing processes and substrates, implying the necessity of regular viscosity checks to maintain print quality.
