Typically, the temperature for welding polyethylene ranges between 250°C and 300°C (482°F to 572°F). Practice on scrap pieces to perfect your technique before attempting the actual weld.
The choice between PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and rubber soles largely depend on the intended use, personal preference, and priorities in footwear. Rubber soles are renowned for their durability, flexibility, and excellent traction, making them ideal for outdoor activities and environments that require grip, such as hiking.
