One of the key technological transformation projects during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period in Guilin City – the ultra-fine talc powder factory of Longguang Talc Development Co., Ltd. was recently completed put into production. Longsheng is one of China's three important talc production and export bases. Its talc reserves and quality rank first in the country. In order to expand and strengthen the talc industry, in September 1990, Longsheng Talc Minerals of Longsheng Autonomous County, Guangxi Hardware and Minerals Import and Export Group Corporation, and Hong Kong Guangning Development Co., Ltd. jointly established Longguang Talc Development Co., Ltd. to produce 2 series of talc. There are 38 varieties of talc products, many of which have been awarded the title of national and autonomous region famous brand products. Their products enjoy a high reputation in the domestic and foreign talc markets, with more than 75% of the export products, mainly sold to Southeast Asia, the United States, the United Kingdom, etc. 20 In many regions and countries, it has been an enterprise in Guilin City with profits and taxes exceeding RMB 10 million for five consecutive years.

Further leveraging the advantages of talc resources, optimizing product structure, and increasing product added value are the strategic priorities for accelerating the development of Longsheng Industrial. Facing new development opportunities and challenges, Longguang Talc Development Co., Ltd., a key talc enterprise in Longsheng, aimed at the international market and invested 29 million yuan to relocate the second talc powder factory originally located in Longsheng County to the suburbs. Reconstructed into a large-scale, high-standard ultrafine talcum powder processing plant. The project was identified by the city as a key technological transformation project during Guilin’s “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period. After more than a year of hard work, one of the most modern talc processing enterprises in China has been completed and put into operation.

The newly put into production ultra-fine talc powder factory covers an area of 29,000 square meters and can process 82,000 tons of talc powder annually, which is an increase of 22,000 tons of comprehensive processing capacity compared with the original one. It can achieve annual sales Income was 68 million yuan, taxes were 9.6 million yuan, and profit was 7.8 million yuan. The completion of the ultra-fine talc powder plant will further improve the product structure of talc powder, enhance product market competitiveness, increase high added value, and play a positive role in promoting the industrialization and urbanization of Longsheng.
