Nuberg EPC has been selected by Indian Oil Corporation Limited for the construction of Rs. 570+ crore Sulphur Recovery Plant consisting of Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) (1 x 400 MTPD) including control room and substation for sulphur block at its Gujarat refinery (LuPech Project) under international competitive bidding.

The Sulphur Recovery Plant is being built within Indian Oil’s existing facility of Vadodara, Gujarat for Petrochemical and Lube Integration Project.

Nuberg EPC shall be executing this project using the latest French technology to future proof Indian Oil’s environmental sustainability and augmenting Sulphur production capability. The 1 x 400 MTPD Sulphur Recovery Unit will enable Indian Oil to recover sulphur from Sour Gas, a byproduct of the refinery. The company is taking up the project on LSTK basis including the technology and will be ready for production in 28 months.

The 1.5 TPD project involves generation of ultra-pure hydrogen and its storage at extremely high pressure.”

This Sulphur Recovery Plant project from Indian Oil comes as another milestone for Nuberg EPC.
