NEW DELHI: Menthol prices today recovered by Rs 10 each per kg in the national capital on better demand from consuming units.

Menthol oil, menthol bold crystal and menthol flake increased by Rs 10 to settle at Rs 755, Rs 940 and Rs 835 per kg respectively.

Marketmen said better demand from consuming units amid tight supplies from producing areas of Uttar Pradesh due to heavy rains.

Following were today’s quotations: Ammonium chloride (50 kg), 1500-2,000, acetic acid (1 kg) 45, ammonia bicarb (25 kg) 440, boric acid technical (50 kg) 4,000-4,400, borex granular (50 kg) 2400.
