European daily chlorine production up 2.2% in July
The European chlorine production stood at 850,820 tonnes in July. With 27,466 tonnes, the July 2021 average daily production was 2.2% higher than in the previous month (June 2021: 26,850 tonnes), and 6.7% higher than in July 2020 (25,721 tonnes), reports Eurochlor.
With 191,122 tonnes, the July 2021 caustic soda stocks were 11.7% lower than in the previous month (June 2021: 171,142 tonnes), and 51,231 tonnes below the level of July 2020 (242,353 tonnes).
