Union Ministers Mandaviya, Puri to address APIC 2023
The Chemicals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers Association (CPMA) of India is hosting the 41st edition of the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference 2023 (APIC 2023) in New Delhi on 18-19 May.
APIC is highly acclaimed and well attended international petrochemical’s event with participation of delegates from seven member countries as well as a large no of delegates from USA, China, Europe, Mid East and other Asian countries. The two day programmes of APIC evolved over the years, has also been structured to include Marketing seminars from most renowned global consultants on day one, and day two shall have the inaugural session and speeches of the Presidents of seven country Associations, followed by eight committee meetings, covering in detail individual subjects such as Sustainability and circular economy, General Matters & Raw Materials, Polyolefins, Chemicals, Styrene, PVC, Synthetic Rubber and Synthetic Fibres.
The event, supported by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, brings together the leaders of the industry to brainstorm on the current trends of the global petrochemicals industry.
Union Ministers such as Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Health & Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya, and Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, are set to address the delegates during the two-day conference.
The main objective of the conference is to spur discussion and cooperation on the issues of petrochemicals industry such as growth, trade, environment, sustainability amongst the industry, especially in Asia and around the world and thereby contribute to the advancement of their economies in general, and the petrochemicals industry in particular.
