According to the data monitoring of Tudou.com, the average ex-works price of HDPE (5000S) was RMB 8,466/mt on January 2nd and RMB 8,433/mt on January 6th. It decreased by 0.39% during the period compared with the previous month. Since December 1 decreased by 0.40% .

Polyethylene spot prices fell slightly this week. Among them, LLDPE and HDPE prices fell, LDPE prices rose slightly. The domestic polyethylene market shrank due to the impact of falling crude oil costs. New polyethylene production capacity was put into production, and supply-side pressure continued to increase. Terminal demand is not good. According to statistics, the average start rate of polyethylene downstream products decreased by 0.43% compared with the previous period.
