Indian Oil to use spheripol technology for its Panipat PP plant

LyondellBasell has announced that the Indian Oil Corporation of China (IOCL) will utilize LyondellBasell Spheripolllol technology in its new plant. The technology will be used in a 450 KTA polypropylene plant under construction in Panipat, Haryana, India. Spheripol technology is the leading PP processing technology with a licensed capacity of over 27 million tons. The latest fifth generation of Spheripol technology includes technological enhancements to further improve operational efficiency, and the new licensee will start operating with Avant ZN catalysts in order to continuously increase production.
