ALBIS is working closely with Decathlon to minimize CO2 emissions from portable volleyball racks made from recycled materials at LyondellBasell. The French sports and outdoor equipment retailer Decathlon's portable sports equipment is designed specifically for the beach and is highly regarded for its robust craftsmanship, strong mechanical properties, reliable quality and toxicity requirements. At the same time, we aim to minimize the carbon footprint of our products.

After an in-depth analysis, it was decided to use CirculenRecover polymers belonging to LyondellBasell's circulen The range supports the use of recycled materials to reduce plastic waste. Circulenrecover products are made entirely from waste plastics through a process of sorting, shredding, washing, blending and mixing. This process converts the mixed plastic waste into HDPE raw material. "The chosen solution guarantees the quality requirements of our product portfolio as well as pure HDPE which offers a competitive price/performance ratio compared to pure HDPE and also reduces CO2 emissions.

We are pleased to use post-consumer plastics in sporting goods. "People's attitudes towards plastic waste need to change," says Anna Le Duc, Materials Manager at Decathlon. ALBIS Sylvain Rambour "We have proven time and time again that plastic waste is a valuable resource." We also work with developers to ensure that plastics can continue to be recycled. This project demonstrates how ALBIS works. How it works. A great example. "We work with our customers to select the most suitable solution for their specific application from our comprehensive product range," he says ALBIS is committed to sustainable projects. Promoting the circular economy.

Thanks to our longstanding cooperation with Decathlon and our supplier LyondellBasell, we are pleased to present you with a new success story in transforming plastic waste into valuable new products. In this application, sport, plastics and sustainability combine to create the perfect synergy for health, enjoyment and environmental friendliness through targeted recycling management. " "LyanderBasell's goal is to produce and sell 2000 million tons of recycled and renewable polymers by 2030 2000. Our CirculenRecover This product is a key element of the Circulen polymer range helps to make consumer products more sustainable. circulenRecover maximizes CO2eq reduction in emissions. Thanks to this material, we and ALBIS have worked together with Decathlon's value chain and we are pleased to offer another sustainable solution to meet the needs of our end customers."
