Maire Tecnimont S.p.A., its subsidiary Tecnimont S.p.A., has been awarded $10,000 worth of technology-focused engineering services and feasibility studies for the petrochemical industry in Korea, the Russian Federation and India. In particular, Technimont signed a contract with one of Korea's leading energy and chemical companies for the development of front-end engineering design (FEED) for the high-pressure portion of a low-density polyethylene contract (LDPE) plant, as well as subsequent detailed engineering. Companies in the Asia-Pacific region are developing new grassroots petrochemical complexes. 

Thanks to its know-how, Maire Tecnimont holds a market-leading position in the engineering and construction of LDPE plants worldwide. The contract also includes two feasibility studies, one for the construction of a new polypropylene plant in India by Nordic Chemicals and the other for an additional acrylonitrile production line in the Russian Federation to be built by Lukoil Saratovogsnets.
