LyondellBasell Industries N.V. Shandong Yulong Petrochemical Co., Ltd. announced that LyondellBasell Lupotech will be used for two separate lines of T high-pressure polyethylene (PE) technology at the new plant. The process technology will be used in a 200 KTA low density polyethylene (LDPE) line and a 300 KTA LDPE with ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) vinyl acetate copolymerized monomer on the line to produce LDPE. the plant will be located in Longkou, Yantai City, Shandong Province, China. "Because LDPE and EVA applications continue to grow significantly, the need for benchmark manufacturing performance is competing effectively in the product marketplace. 

Shandong Yulong Petrochemicals has selected Lupotech T to capitalize on our leadership in LDPE and LDPE specialty products manufacturing process technology. ". Nadalin, LyondellBasell's Director of Global Licensing and Services, said, "Lupotech T is the technology of choice for high-pressure tubular LDPE production providing customers with the lowest operating costs and a balanced cost of investment."
