Maire Tecnimont announced that its subsidiaries Tecnimont Planung Industrieanlagenbau GmbH and MT Russia LLC have been awarded an EP contract (Engineering and Procurement) by Kazanorgsintez PJSC (KOS), Low Density Polyethylene for the implementation of a low density polyethylene ( LDPE)/Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA). The contract signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Mairere Tecnimont Group in Milan, in the presence of Farid Minigulov, General Director of KOS Farid, Piro Folgiero, CEO of the Mairere Tecnimont Group, and several executives from both companies.The total value of the EP contract is approximately 130 million euros. The contract is based on a one-off program for engineering and procurement services and a reimbursement program for the supply of equipment and materials.

The scope of the project includes the construction of a new LDPE/EVA plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year. The project is primarily aimed at expanding polyolefin capacity and is expected to be completed in approximately 40 months from the date of the contract.

Part of the scope of work in the Russian Federation MT Russia's engineering center in Moscow, Maire Tecnimont Group employs about 200 renowned specialists currently involved in many Russian projects.
