MRF races ahead to buy Kesoram’s tyre unit

Chennai: JK At the 8th India Rubber Expo and Tire Expo in Delhi, Tire showcased its new product range across segments including car, truck, light commercial vehicle and agricultural radial tires.

One of the highlights of the event was the Ultra Hi, an ultra-high performance concept tire with all-silica technology and multi-layer tread rubber in colors that match automotive aesthetics.

Ultra Hi It is the culmination of two extreme technologies to deliver the low fuel consumption, advanced traction and handling required for high performance vehicles.

This innovative concept is currently being tested by JK Tire Technology Center in India at proving grounds around the world.

JK Tires has launched the UX1, its ultra-high performance range that provides ride comfort and durability on Indian roads. These tires are specially designed for high-end luxury cars like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

JK Tires also unveiled cross-category products that will be released in the future. In the passenger car segment, the company has introduced a range of products designed specifically for the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and high-performance asymmetric tires for premium cars in India, such as the Volkswagen Vento and the Suzuki Ciaz.Additionally, JK Tire’s all-terrain tires for SUVs will also be unveiled at this year’s IRE show.

In the agricultural sector, JK Tyres has developed steel belted agricultural radial tires to meet the needs of Indian agriculture. They excel in all aspects: puncture resistance, traction bar traction (providing high traction in various soil conditions), high abrasion resistance, long service life and high fuel efficiency.

JK Tire emphasizes an international strategy, producing products for major export markets such as the United States and Latin America. Tires at the show included the Ultima-XPC1, America Selecta Plus and Turbo.

Apart from strengthening its product portfolio, JK Tires is also changing the after-sales model in India by introducing consumers to international practices.
