ALPLA to build HDPE recycling plant in Mexico

ALPLA Mexico Group is building a plant to recycle high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The plan is to produce 10,000,000,000 tons of post-consumer recycled material annually. APLA acquires property in Toluca, the capital of the state of Mexico in central Mexico. The state-of-the-art recycling plant is scheduled for 2020 Construction begins in the fall of 2021, with construction starting in the fall of 2021 and commissioning later this year. The investment of approximately €15 million will create 65 jobs. This company will be ALPLA Operated by a 100% owned subsidiary, the plant will have a production capacity of 15,000 tons per year. The target markets are mainly Mexico, nearby Central American countries and the United States.
