The PEM electrolysis cell is the core part of the PEM electrolysis water hydrogen production equipment. The entire working environment is acidic. The high voltage on the anode side and oxygen release form a harsh oxidation environment. The bipolar plates, gas diffusion layers and other structures of the PEM electrolysis cell need to have corrosion resistance. performance. Titanium has become the best material for PEM electrolysis cells due to its low density, excellent corrosion resistance, low initial resistivity and good mechanical strength.

Starting from 2021, Baoti will begin to cooperate with China's large PEM hydrogen production companies to develop titanium plate products that can meet the special requirements of hydrogen production equipment. The project team of the Ministry of Civil Products serves as a bridge for information collection and communication with users, and closely works with the development department of Baoti Research Institute and the management and technical personnel of the Titanium Belt Company to carry out a series of research on surface quality, plate shape and plate shape changes that occur after etching.
