Inner Mongolia Yuanxing Energy Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as the company) recently received a receipt from its controlling subsidiary Inner Mongolia Boyuan Yingen Mining Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Yingen Mining) notified that some of the shared equipment in the evaporation links of the third and fourth production lines of the Alashanta Lignin Trona Development and Utilization Project failed during operation, resulting in the load reduction of the two production lines and is expected to affect soda ash production. About 3,000 tons/day, Yingen Mining has started emergency repair work and is expected to resume before the end of October 2024.

The planned construction production capacity of Yingen Mining's Alxa Tower Lignin Tona Development and Utilization Project is 7.8 million tons/year of soda ash and 800,000 tons/year of baking soda. The project is constructed in two phases, of which the first phase is planned to build 5 million tons of soda ash per year and 400,000 tons of baking soda per year, and the second phase is planned to build 2.8 million tons of soda ash per year and 400,000 tons of baking soda per year. The production lines in the first phase of the project are all ready to reach production capacity. Due to equipment failure, the third and fourth production lines are currently in reduced load operation.
