This round of financing will be used to add production equipment, expand mass production capabilities, and prepare for comprehensive mass production.

Tomi Shuangdu Optoelectronics was jointly funded and established by Tomi Group and Chengdu City Xiangrong Venture Capital Co., Ltd. in July 2020. It is committed to becoming the world's leading professional manufacturer of flexible products. It uses ultra-thin flexible glass, central foldable glass and additional products, 3D curved glass front and rear covers and car glass, semiconductor glass substrates, etc. as the leading products, it is an independent research and development company that grasps core technologies. According to reports, in July this year, Tomi Shuangdu Optoelectronics, with the strong support of the Guangxi NanNing City government, officially launched the construction of an annual production of 12 million pieces of flexible glass (including TUTG flexible glass and TCFG central foldable glass) coating and module project. This is Guangxi's first TUTG/TCFG flexible glass coating and module project. The project has a total investment of approximately 1.45 billion yuan and a construction area of approximately 56,000 square meters. The products are used in folding terminals, flexible display protective covers and other fields. A production line with an annual production capacity of 12 million TUTG/TCFG coatings and 12 million TUTG/TCFG modules will be built, with an annual output value of approximately 2 billion yuan after reaching production capacity.

TUTG and TCFG glass, as optical display materials, have significant technical advantages and application prospects in new display fields such as folding mobile phones and tablets. TCFG central foldable glass, the first in the industry, is expected to break the market monopoly of other countries and become the leading solution for the next generation of folding screen covers with its obvious advantages in crease resistance, strength, optical properties, etc.

Currently, folding products are becoming the darling of the consumer electronics market. It is expected that global shipments of folding screen mobile phones will exceed 100 million units in 2028. Folding notebooks and folding pads will also become new growth highlights for folding screens.
