A few days ago, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Market Supervision jointly released a list of energy efficiency "leaders" in key industries in 2023, with 69 enterprises from 30 industries selected. Among them, our province Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Co., Ltd. And Tangshan Sanyou Chlor-Alkali Co., Ltd. were selected.

The "leader" of energy efficiency refers to the products, enterprises or units with the highest energy efficiency in the comparable range of the same kind. In order to highlight the leading role of energy efficiency standards, establish a number of energy efficiency benchmark enterprises and promote industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction, since 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Market Supervision have innovated to carry out the selection of energy efficiency "leaders" in key energy use industries, drawing lessons from the advanced experience outside China. A total of 7 batches of 206 key energy efficiency "leaders" enterprises were released.

These energy efficiency "leaders" enterprises have accumulated rich experience in saving energy and reducing consumption.

In the soda industry energy efficiency "leader" enterprises, our province Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Co., Ltd. was selected. In the two processes of heavy soda ash (ammonia alkali method) and light soda ash (ammonia alkali method), Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Co., Ltd. has been selected for 3 consecutive years.

"We have successively implemented major energy-saving technical renovation projects, such as chlor-alkali calcium carbide slurry instead of lime milk and oxygen-rich recovery, to reduce steam consumption, optimize production processes and reduce energy consumption in calcination processes." Ma Baojun, a third-level expert and head of the production Technology Department of the Soda Branch of Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Co., Ltd., said that they have made great efforts to develop and adopt new technologies, such as advanced intelligent control of lime kilns and intelligent control of light ash processes, which can not only reduce the intensity of production operations and improve the smooth operation of the plant, but also improve the utilization rate of kiln gas and further reduce energy consumption. Make deep use of waste heat and continue to promote energy conservation and emission reduction.

Among the energy efficiency "leaders" in the PVC industry, Tangshan Sanyou Chlor-Alkali Co., Ltd. was shortlisted. In 2022, the company produces 330000 tons of calcium carbide (general-purpose) polyvinyl chloride resin, and the energy consumption per unit product is much better than the energy efficiency benchmarking level.

As a key energy-consuming unit, Sanyou chlor-alkali has established a complete and effective standardized and standardized energy management system. The company realizes intelligent energy management and control and reduces energy consumption per unit product through efficient use of steam synthesis furnace, implementation of energy-saving technical transformation of polymerization drying fluidized bed and construction of energy consumption on-line monitoring system.

In the iron and steel industry energy efficiency "leader" enterprises, Shougang Jingtang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was selected. Through the adoption of advanced carbon reduction and emission reduction technology, the construction of an efficient recycling system, and the construction of a centralized management and control platform for joint scheduling, the energy consumption per unit of the sintering process in 2022 is better than the standard advanced value.

The industrial field is the main position for the development of energy saving, emission reduction and low carbon. Our province insists on implementing the "14th five-year" Industrial Green Development Plan "Industrial Energy efficiency Promotion Action Plan" and continues to promote the improvement of industrial energy efficiency. Adhere to the two-wheel drive of "energy-saving diagnosis + energy-saving supervision". Since the 14th five-year Plan, 68 industrial energy-saving diagnostic service institutions have been selected and recruited in our province to provide free energy-saving diagnostic services for more than 1000 enterprises.

In the past, "major polluters" competed to become "vanguards of pollution control". At present, our province has cultivated a total of 11 national key industries energy efficiency "leader" enterprises, 236 national green factories.

Guo Rui, director of the Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said that the energy consumption of industrial units above scale in our province has decreased year by year, falling by 9.7% in 2021, 6.6% in 2022, 5.3% in 2023, and 20.2% in the first three years of the 14th five-year Plan.
