Currently, the thinnest glass cover used on Chinese spacecraft is 0.075 mm, while Star Arrow's technical reserve is 0.03 mm.

At the beginning of 2023, the 0.009mm ultra-thin high-temperature resistant optical glass developed by Star Arrow Company was successfully rolled off the production line. It is thinner than a cicada's wing, but it is as strong as armor. It can withstand instant high temperatures of 1200 ° C, becoming another major breakthrough in China's optical glass field. This product has excellent thickness uniformity, flexibility and heat resistance, and can be used for a long time at high temperatures of 800 ° C, setting a new limit in the industry. The products can be widely used in the consumer electronics industry and the medical industry, opening the door for the company to the civilian field. During the construction process, the kiln group and process group of the cold repair engineering headquarters organized forces to strengthen construction supervision to ensure that every link was specially responsible, from each large arch to each arch brick, and even every mud joint.
