Glass production:In July 2024, China's glass output was 5.2798 million tons, an increase of 1.83% year-on-year of 5.1798 million tons and an increase of 3.20% month-on-month of 5.1112 million tons; from January to July 2024, China's glass output totaled 36.766 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.5903 million tons, or 7.58%.
Glass operating rate:In July, the operating rate of the glass market was 84.18%, a year-on-year increase of 3.05%, and a month-on-month decline of 0.13%. This month, 2 new ignitions and 1 cold repair were added to the float glass production line. Supply continued to be high, and the operating rate fluctuated within a narrow range.
