According to news, on August 9, Xinhe County successfully held a signing ceremony for a project with an annual output of 150,000 tons of coal tar deep processing and 40,000 tons of phthalic anhydride production. This move significantly promoted the development of the county's coal tar industry chain.

It is understood that Xinhe County's 150,000 tons/year coal tar deep processing and 40,000 tons/year phthalic anhydride production projects will be settled next to Xinhe Jiezhida Chemical Co., Ltd. in the New Materials Park of Xinhe County. The project covers an area of 141 acres and plans to add a 150,000-ton/year coal tar deep processing production line and a 40,000-ton/year phthalic anhydride production line, including equipment installation and corresponding power distribution rooms, control rooms, fire-fighting pump rooms and other supporting facilities. It is expected that the project will start before October 30, 2024 and complete construction by October 30, 2025. The total investment is expected to reach 350 million yuan, and the annual output value after completion will be approximately 700 million yuan, which can create approximately 30 million yuan in local tax revenue and provide more than 100 jobs.

The person in charge of Xinhe Jiezhida Chemical Co., Ltd. promised that after signing the contract, they will go all out to promote the construction of the second phase of the project and strive to successfully complete it and put it into production in October 2025.
