In July, the output of chlorinated titanium dioxide was 51,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.67% and a month-on-month increase of 1.97%. The cumulative output of chlorinated titanium dioxide from January to July 2024 was 373,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.22%.

Domestic demand is still weak, and demand in the coatings and papermaking industries has weakened. However, titanium dioxide output has maintained a growth trend, and the market supply and demand relationship is unbalanced, restricting the upward trend of market prices. Costs such as raw materials are high, and some companies have also suffered losses in prices, causing greater pressure on production of enterprises; The overall market order receiving situation weakened again in August, but due to cost support, market prices remained firm. As maintenance companies resume production, output may rebound in August. However, the overall market demand is weak, and companies are mostly on the sidelines. State, the titanium dioxide market is mainly stable.
