According to local media reports in Jiangxi, Black Cat's superconducting carbon black project in Leping City has successfully completed the installation of all modern production equipment. Li Jian, the person in charge of the project base, revealed that the total investment of the project exceeds 600 million yuan and is expected to be officially put into production before the end of August. Once put into production, it can produce 20,000 tons of superconducting carbon black per year.

In order to promote this project, Black Cat has invested 200 million yuan in Tashan Industrial Park in Leping City, Jiangxi Province, and established a wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangxi Black Cat Nanomaterials Technology Co., Ltd. This company will serve as the main body of the project and be responsible for investing in the construction of a superconducting carbon black production line with an annual output of 20,000 tons. According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, this project, together with Black Cat's other base project in Inner Mongolia, has formed two major conductive carbon black production bases in the north and south. These two projects are expected to become new profit growth points for Black Cat Co., Ltd., and will also seize market opportunities for Black Cat in the fields of new energy and new materials, thereby enhancing its comprehensive competitiveness.

In order to get rid of the homogeneous competition in the low-end carbon black market, Black Cat Co., Ltd. chose to use lithium-grade conductive carbon black as a breakthrough to actively deploy a high-end and differentiated special carbon material market. At present, the company has orderly promoted the planned production capacity of 70,000 tons of conductive carbon black, 80,000 tons of coal-based needle coke and 5000 tons of carbon nanotubes, aiming to build a leading carbon-based new material platform and further expand its development space.
