Glass Import and Export Analysis (June 2024)

Glass import and export analysis: According to customs data, glass imports in June 2024 were 14,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14% and a month-on-month decrease of 18%. From January to June 2024, the cumulative import volume was 119,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 16,800 tons, or 16.46%.

In terms of countries, the top three regions for glass imports in June were: South Korea with 4,800 tons, Japan with 3,300 tons, and Thailand with 3,100 tons, accounting for 34%, 24%, and 22% respectively.

According to customs data, glass exports in June 2024 were 38,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 34% and a month-on-month increase of 2%. From January to June 2024, the cumulative export volume was 209,800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 172,400 tons, a range of-45.12%.

In terms of countries, the top three regions for glass exports in June were South Korea with 4,500 tons, Bangladesh with 2,400 tons, and Mongolia with 1,900 tons, accounting for 29%, 15%, and 12% respectively.
