[Sponge Titanium] Analysis of China's Sponge Titanium Production in June 2024

According to Tdd-global's statistics,In June 2024, China's sponge titanium output was approximately 23,700 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.27%, and a year-on-year increase of 30.81%; from January to June 2024, the sponge titanium output was approximately 125,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.18%, and the output increased by approximately 15,500 tons year-on-year.

With the release of new output from full-process enterprises, the plant is started at full capacity, titanium sponge output remains at a high level, downstream demand is generally relatively stable, and the market supply is relatively sufficient.

In June 2024, China's top three domestic producers of titanium sponge production areas, Liaoning, Sichuan, and Yunnan, accounted for 21%, 21%, and 17% of the total domestic output respectively.

The low price of titanium sponge fell slightly in June. Due to the lower price of raw material magnesium ingots, coupled with the significant increase in market output, downstream demand was weak and stable.
