Glass output and operating rate in June 2024

Glass production:In June 2024, China's glass output was 5.1112 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.96% from 4.9164 million tons and a decrease of 4.61% from 5.3583 million tons; from January to June 2024, China's glass output totaled 31.4912 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4953 million tons, or 8.61%.

Glass operating rate:In June, the operating rate of the glass market was 84.29%, a year-on-year increase of 5.17%, and a month-on-month decline of 0.89%. This month, float glass cold repair production lines increased, and the operating rate declined slightly.
