Glass output and operating rate in February 2024

Glass output: In February 2024, China's glass output was 4.9911 million tons, an increase of 13.08% year-on-year to 4.4139 million tons and a decrease of 7.04% month-on-month to 5.3693 million tons.

Glass operating rate: The glass market operating rate in February was 84.88%, a year-on-year increase of 7.61%, and a month-on-month decline of 0.48%. February coincides with a market holiday during the Spring Festival holiday, and in addition, demand recovered less than expected after the holiday, the overall operating rate of enterprises this month showed a downward trend.
