Glass import and export analysis: According to customs data, glass imports in January 2024 were 19,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 47% to 13,300 tons and an increase of 18% to 16,900 tons.

In terms of countries, the top three regions for glass imports in January were: Malaysia with 7,300 tons, Japan with 3,400 tons, and South Korea with 3,000 tons, accounting for 39%, 18%, and 16% respectively.

According to customs data, glass exports in January 2024 were 37,800 tons, down 38% year-on-year from 61,400 tons and 11% month-on-month from 42,700 tons.

In terms of countries, the top three regions for glass exports in January were South Korea with 3,800 tons, Canada with 1,800 tons, and the Philippines with 1,800 tons, accounting for 25%, 12%, and 12% respectively.
