According to statistics from Tuduo, China's titanium dioxide output in February 2024 was 376,300 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.13%, and a year-on-year increase of 19.79%. The total titanium dioxide output from January to February 2024 was approximately 753,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.77%, and the output increased by approximately 144,600 tons.

During the Spring Festival holiday in February, titanium dioxide factories in Guangxi and other regions were overhauled, and output declined. Due to the resumption of normal production at the Deyang base of Dachang, the overall output of titanium dioxide in February was basically the same as in January.

The top three regions in February's output were Sichuan, Shandong and Henan, accounting for 21%, 15%, and 14% of the total output respectively;

In February, the output of chlorinated titanium dioxide was 54,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.42%, a year-on-year increase of 15.25%, and the output increased by 14,200 tons year-on-year.

In February, there were still about ten companies in the titanium dioxide market that started to decline. Market supply shrank. Coupled with the impact of the Spring Festival stocking demand, companies had more orders on hand, and market prices rose steadily. As companies resume construction, titanium dioxide starts will also increase., titanium dioxide production is expected to increase in March.
