Import and export data of titanium products from January to December 2023

 According to customs data, in December 2023, China imported 442.53 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month decrease of 15.03%; in December, it exported 2,977.17 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month increase of 3.57%. From January to December 2023, China's cumulative imports of titanium materials were 7,815.97 tons, an increase of 14.11% year-on-year; from January to December, the cumulative exports of titanium materials were 29,500 tons, an increase of 43.84% year-on-year.

 The top three products imported from January to December 2023 are: titanium bars, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative import volume of 2,464.17 tons, accounting for 31.53% of the total; followed by titanium plates with a thickness of ≤0.8mm, sheets, strips, and foils, with a cumulative import volume of 1,889.57 tons, accounting for 24.18% of the total; and titanium plates, sheets, and strips with a thickness of>0.8mm, with a cumulative import volume of 1,047.55 tons, accounting for 14.54% of the total.

     From January to December, the top three products in the cumulative export volume of titanium materials were titanium plates, sheets and strips with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, with a cumulative export volume of 10,492.09 tons, accounting for 35.61% of the total; followed by titanium bars, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative export volume of 8,546.40 tons, accounting for 29.01% of the total; and other wrought titanium and titanium products, with a cumulative export volume of 3,136.83 tons, accounting for 10.65% of the total. In 2023, the cost pressure of China's titanium products will be greater. The annual export data of titanium products will show different growth rates, and the export volume of individual products will decline slightly.
