Ilmenite

According to customs data, China imported 364000 tons of titanium ore in December 2023, an increase of 25.96 percent over the same period last year, and a month-on-month decrease of 1.74 percent, with an average monthly price of 309.98 US dollars per tonne. China imported about 4.2719 million tons of titanium ore in 2023, an increase of 23.03 percent over the same period last year, and imports increased by about 799800 tons.

 

Among them, the top three countries in December were Mozambique, Nigeria and New Zealand, accounting for 68%, 7% and 5% of the total imports, respectively.

 

The top three regions for the increase in imports of titanium ore in 2023 were Mozambique, with an increase of 465800 tons, Norway, 124600 tons and Nigeria, with an increase of 88500 tons. Mozambican titanium ore still ranks first in imports. imports from some mainstream countries gradually declined, and the increase in imports for the whole year was still an increase in gross ore.

  

In December 2023, China exported 2237.57 tons of ilmenite, an increase of 52.39 percent over the same period last year and 57.12 percent month-on-month. Titanium dioxide

In December 2023, China imported 11157.63 tons of titanium dioxide, an increase of 20.45 percent over the previous month and 60.78 percent over the same period last year.
