Anthracene oil import and export data for August 2023

Anthracene oil: According to customs data, in August 2023, China imported 9,400 tons of anthracene oil, a year-on-year decrease of 80.29%, and a month-on-month decrease of 27.84%; from January to August 2023, China imported a total of 117,000 tons of anthracene oil, a decrease of 76.3% compared with the same period last year, and imports decreased by approximately 377,000 tons.

The top three regions for anthracene oil imports in August 2023 are: Thailand, Malaysia, and Germany; accounting for 25.7%, 21%, and 14% of the total imports respectively.

According to customs data, China's anthracene oil exports in August 2023 were approximately 114 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 83.76%, and a decrease of 21.37% month-on-month. From January to August 2023, China exported a total of 814 tons of anthracene oil, a decrease of 97.9% compared with the same period last year, and the export volume decreased by approximately 39,000 tons.

Among them, the top two regions exporting anthracene oil in August 2023 are Iran and Cote d'Ivoire, accounting for 75.4% and 24.1% of the total exports respectively.
