According to customs data, in September 2024, China imported 1,534.06 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month increase of 221.75%; in September, it exported 2,083.40 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month decrease of 28.32%. From January to September 2024, China's cumulative imports of titanium materials were 5,935.67 tons, an increase of 61.84% year-on-year; from January to September, the cumulative exports of titanium materials were 24,499.97 tons, an increase of 112.91% year-on-year. In September, the total import volume of titanium materials increased significantly month-on-month, mainly due to the significant increase in the import volume of titanium bars, rods, profiles and profiles.
The top three products imported from January to September 2024 are: titanium strips, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative import volume of 2,884.56 tons, accounting for 48.60% of the total; followed by titanium plates, sheets and belts with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, with a cumulative import volume of 885.69 tons, accounting for 14.92% of the total; and titanium plates, sheets, strips and foils with a thickness of ≤ 0.8 mm were imported 810.43 tons, accounting for 13.65% of the total.
1-9 The top three products in the cumulative export volume of titanium materials in the month were titanium bars, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative export volume of 7,685.38 tons, ranking first in the export ranking, accounting for 31.37%; followed by titanium plates, sheets and belts with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, with a cumulative export volume of 7,541.99 tons, accounting for 30.78% of the total; and other wrought titanium and titanium products, with a cumulative export volume of 3,129.78 tons, accounting for 12.77% of the total.
