Glass production:In August 2024, China's glass output was 5.2313 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.68% and a year-on-year decrease of 0.82% from 5.2748 million tons; from January to August 2024, China's glass output totaled 41.9973 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.62575 million tons, with a range of 6.67%.

Glass operating rate:In August, the operating rate of the glass market was 83.40%, a year-on-year increase of 2.96%, and a month-on-month decline of 0.93%. This month, 1 new ignition line and 7 new cold repairs were added to the float glass production line. Supply declined, and the operating rate fluctuated within a narrow range.
