According to customs data, in July 2024, China imported 533.10 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month decrease of 11.11%; in July, it exported 2,891.50 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month decrease of 1.28%. From January to July 2024, China's cumulative imports of titanium materials were 3,924.82 tons, an increase of 7.02% year-on-year; from January to July, the cumulative exports of titanium materials were 19,510.09 tons, an increase of 69.55% year-on-year.
The top three products imported from January to July 2024 are: titanium strips, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative import volume of 1,402.24 tons, accounting for 35.73% of the total; followed by titanium plates, sheets and belts with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, with a cumulative import volume of 769.78 tons, accounting for 19.61% of the total; and titanium plates, sheets, strips and foils with a thickness of ≤ 0.8 mm were imported of 640.94 tons, accounting for 16.33% of the total.
1-7 The top three products in the cumulative export volume of titanium materials in the month were titanium plates, sheets and strips with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, with a cumulative export volume of 6,172.02 tons, accounting for 31.64% of the total; followed by titanium bars, rods, profiles and profiles, with a cumulative export volume of 6,005.17 tons, accounting for 30.78% of the total; and other wrought titanium and titanium products, with a cumulative export volume of 2,469.68 tons, accounting for 12.66% of the total.
