Affected by the market and power rationing, the number of titanium dioxide maintenance companies increased in June, and output in Sichuan, Henan, Hubei and other regions declined in varying degrees. In July, about 10 companies re-established maintenance plans, and some manufacturers returned to normal, and their output may increase.

In the off-season of the market, terminal demand was weak, foreign trade export pressure increased, and sea freight prices soared. In June, foreign trade orders received weakened, and domestic trade prices weakened and declined. In June, as titanium dioxide manufacturers started to decline, coupled with the high prices of raw materials titanium oxide and sulfuric acid, titanium dioxide prices have basically no room for decline. However, some companies in the market still reduced production in July. Some market participants believe that prices have hit bottom. In early July, market shipments improved, supply of some brands was tight, and some companies were eager to rise. The market will wait and see more.
