According to customs data, in June 2023, China imported 857.07 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month increase of 35.21%; in June, it exported 2,243.29 tons of titanium materials, a month-on-month decrease of 6.78%. From January to June 2023, China's cumulative imports of titanium materials were 4,524.58 tons, down 1.66% year-on-year; from January to June, the cumulative exports of titanium materials were 13,750.53 tons, an increase of 3.54% year-on-year.
In the first half of 2023, the top three imported products of titanium materials are: titanium plates, sheets, strips, foils with a thickness of ≤0.8mm, titanium strips, rods, profiles and profiles, and titanium plates, sheets, strips with a thickness of>0.8mm. In the first half of the year, the import volume of titanium pipes and other unwrought titanium products fell significantly year-on-year, and the import volume of other production increased in varying degrees.
The top three products in the cumulative export volume of titanium materials in the first half of the year were titanium plates, sheets, strips with a thickness of> 0.8 mm, titanium strips, rods, profiles, profiles and titanium pipes. The largest export volume of titanium materials in the first half of the year was titanium powder.
