On November 26, it was reported that India's Hi-Green Carbon Group is unique in the field of waste tire recycling, using advanced processes to convert waste tires into high-value products such as recycled carbon black (rCB). With 15 years of accumulation of pyrolysis technology, the company's production base in the Birwala area of Rajasthan has become an industry benchmark. It has multiple sets of efficient continuous reactor furnaces and a daily processing capacity of up to 100 tons of waste tires.
Hi-Green Carbon Group is extremely strict in selecting raw materials, using only high-quality rubber chips that have been carefully classified and screened, and processing them with the help of chemical accelerators. The produced rCB requires multiple strict processes, including high temperature treatment, precise process time control, as well as granulation, drying and packaging to ensure excellent product quality. In the Indian market, the group's rCB products are gradually becoming an important force in promoting circular economy and advocating green manufacturing, winning the favor of more and more users.
In addition to recycled carbon black production, Hi-Green Carbon Group also makes full use of by-products generated during the pyrolysis of waste tires, such as pyrolysis oil, steel and flue gases. Through innovative technologies, these by-products are converted into energy for power generation in factories and used to support the sodium silicate production process, achieving efficient recycling of resources and minimizing waste. According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, this comprehensive utilization model not only improves resource utilization efficiency, but also further promotes the sustainable development of the company's operations.
Faced with strong growth expectations in the future market, Hi-Green Carbon Group has formulated a clear expansion strategy and plans to invest in the construction of new production units in many places in India to significantly enhance rCB's production capacity. Currently, the second production unit located in the Dule area of Maharashtra is under intensive construction and is expected to be officially put into operation by the end of October this year. At the same time, the third unit in the Central Bondar area is also under active construction and is expected to be completed and put into operation before the end of 2025.
The two new plants will use industry-leading technology to achieve an efficient and energy-efficient production process, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and promote greener and more sustainable production. After the expansion is completed, the annual processing capacity of Hi-Green Carbon Group will reach 90,000 tons of waste tires, and the annual production capacity of rCB will increase to 31,500 tons, thus becoming one of the world's leading companies in the development and production of high-performance rCB and meeting the requirements of global customers for high-quality products.
