On November 5, 2024, information from the State Intellectual Property Office showed that Panzhihua Antai Technology Co., Ltd. applied for a patent titled "Method for Preparing Nano-titanium dioxide and Rutile Titanium Dioxide by Chlorination Leaching of Titanic Middleware", Publication No. CN 118894552 A, the application date is September 2024.

The patent abstract shows that the present invention discloses a method for preparing nano titanium dioxide and rutile titanium dioxide by chlorination leaching of titanium middlings, which comprises the following steps: (1) grinding and microwave pre-activation of titanium middlings raw materials;(2) chlorination leaching;(3) filtering to obtain finely filtered leaching solution;(4) freezing and crystallizing the finely filtered leaching solution to obtain clear titanium solution;(5) The titanium cleaning solution is divided into two parts, one part is used to prepare nano titanium dioxide, and the other part is used to prepare rutile titanium dioxide; the invention realizes the comprehensive utilization of vanadium-titanium magnetite, and develops the comprehensive preparation of titanium middlings with high added value nano-titanium dioxide and rutile titanium dioxide, low production cost, recycling hydrochloric acid, and environmentally friendly production process. In addition to using titanium middlings as raw materials, the method can also reduce the grade requirements of titanium concentrate as raw materials. Therefore, mineral processing enterprises can improve the TiO2 beneficiation yield, improve the titanium resource rate, and avoid environmental pollution caused by increasing the titanium yield in the mineral processing process.
