Previously, the stone section 0#stone sampler used PLC control to realize automatic sampling. When failure maintenance occurred, the maintenance was cumbersome and long, which affected the normal sampling of samples by the samplers. "It takes 3 minutes for the entire automatic taking function to run once. Once the system fails for maintenance, maintenance personnel need to wait until the system is completed before making fault judgment and maintenance." "Yes, and once one of the links fails, the system cannot operate automatically. Temporary measures need to be taken to retract the sampler push rod before the system can be re-sampled and operated." The employees said one after another.

To this end, Xing Enru, the chief electrical engineer, took the lead in setting up a research team to go deep into the scene to conduct problem analysis and find solutions to the problem. After repeated research, everyone found that the control box of the stone sampler was too small, and the signal wires and power wires in the control box were too crowded, which affected employees 'operations such as wire removal, wiring, and fault handling. To this end, the research team decided to replace the power box and redesign the control loop. But another difficulty arose because the system did not have manual control, so it was impossible to control the shutdown of the equipment by itself. "There is no manual operation, so let's add manual operation." Xing Enru said firmly. After analyzing the original PLC program, everyone found that it was very difficult to modify the original program. After research, it was decided to write a new program. After two days of hard work, a new program "tailor-made" for maintenance personnel that balanced manual and automatic operation at the same time was reloaded into the PLC system. After the renovation is completed, it not only reduces the workload of maintenance personnel and facilitates personnel debugging. During the implementation process, it not only saves time for sampling work, but also saves 1000 yuan in procurement costs.
