News shows that in November 2023, after half a year of hard negotiation, multiple rounds of negotiations, risk control, and survey and legal procedures, Koda (Peru) Glass Factory successfully held a land signing ceremony in Lima, the capital of Peru, marking the company The company has successfully obtained an ideal land site, laying a solid foundation for the future construction of Koda (Peru) Glass Factory. Xu Chao, general manager of Koda Peru Building Materials Co., Ltd., and Luis Alesa, chairman of Araona Agricultural Company, as representatives of both parties, signed a land purchase contract under the witness of lawyers and teams of both parties, and started Koda Manufacturing in Peru. A new journey on this land.

According to previous market research, there is no glass production capacity in Peru. Koda Manufacturing will invest and set up a factory in the local area, which will replace imported products and seize market space. The glass factory site is close to the Pan-American Highway, with convenient transportation and sufficient reserves of water, fuel and raw materials to meet production needs.

In December, Koda's first glass production line in South America-the Peruvian Float Glass Production Line Project held a groundbreaking ceremony. This not only marked the first time that Koda's glass manufacturing business has entered the South American market, but also the "big building materials" strategy has been further steadily advanced. At the same time, Koda (Peru) Glass Factory will also become the company's first building materials project in Peru. It is reported that Koda Manufacturing's float glass production line in Peru is located in Cañete Province. The first phase of the project plans to build a building glass production line with a planned daily production capacity of 600 tons/day. The products cover markets such as Peru and neighboring countries., products are expected to be officially released in early 2025. Subsequently, the Peruvian factory will plan other categories of products in the second phase based on the project operation situation.
