In the first three quarters, China's total rubber imports fell by 13.3% year-on-year

On October 17, according to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the total amount of natural and synthetic rubber (including latex) imported by China in September 2024 was 614,000 tons, a slight decrease of 2.1% compared with 627,000 tons in the same period in 2023. This trend continues to appear in the first three quarters of 2024. The cumulative import volume from January to September was 5.128 million tons, a decrease of 13.3% compared with 5.915 million tons in the same period in 2023.
