On October 12, recently, the Dongying City Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Human Resources and social protection Bureau, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau and other departments jointly announced the winners of outstanding technological innovation and "Five Small" achievements in the 2024 Dongying City Employee Innovation and Efficiency Competition. Among them, Shandong Nest Carbon Black Co., Ltd. won the first prize for employee innovation achievements with its N205 carbon black project dedicated to ultra-long-distance radial tires.

This N205 carbon black, specially tailored for ultra-long-distance radial tires and specific low-heat-building rubber products, has demonstrated significant results in reducing tire rolling resistance, controlling heat generation and reducing fuel consumption with its outstanding performance. At the same time, the tire's durability and wear resistance have also been enhanced unprecedented. Not only that, the application of N205 carbon black in the field of bias tires is also full of highlights. It has successfully overcome the problems of high heat generation and slow heat dissipation of bias tires, and greatly improved the comprehensive performance of such tires in high-speed and heavy-duty environments.

According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, N205 carbon black, with its high modulus of elasticity and excellent reinforcing properties, significantly enhances the tear resistance of the compound, which not only reduces the rolling resistance of the tire, but also gives the tire a better resistance. The wet sliding ability achieves lower heat generation, higher safety standards and lower noise levels, fully meets the strict environmental protection and performance requirements of green tires on raw materials.
